📝Sol Network Commissions

  1. Transaction Fee: Description: A fee charged for executing a transaction, such as transferring tokens or executing a smart contract.

Size: Averages about 0.00001 SOL per transaction.

Feature: The commission is very small due to the high network bandwidth (more than 65,000 TPS).

  1. Account Rent Fee: Description: Storing data on the blockchain (e.g. creating a new account or smart contract) requires reserving a certain amount of SOL to cover ‘rent’.

Mechanism: If your account has a sufficient balance to cover the ‘rent’, it is kept active. If the balance falls below the minimum threshold, the account is deleted.

Size: Depends on the size of the data stored. The minimum account fee is about 0.00203928 SOL per 1 KB of data per year.

  1. Programme Execution Fee: Description: Charged for the execution of smart contracts (programmes). Depends on the complexity of the programme and resource consumption.

Size: Usually a little more than the standard transaction fee, but still much cheaper than other networks.

  1. Priority Fees: Description: Additional fees that may be paid to increase the priority of transaction processing when the network is busy.

Size: Set by the user. Usually low network congestion will avoid such costs.
